Camp Lejeune Water Contamination Claims

The U.S. Senate passed the Camp Lejeune Justice Act on August 3rd, 2022, allowing people to bring claims who suffered injuries or death from exposure to the contaminated water supply at the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune located in North Carolina. President Biden is expected to sign this legislation soon.

It was discovered that from 1953 to 1987, the water supplying Camp Lejeune was contaminated with toxic chemicals linked to numerous injuries, including but not limited to:

  • Birth Defects
  • Various forms of Cancer
  • Neurological defects, including Parkinson’s disease and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
  • Miscarriages
